The sailing program starts up for the summer on Monday July 6 at the Sturgeon Lake Sailing Club. Hundreds of local kids have been attending the great summer sailing programs offered at the club for over 50 years, and this year’s group of instructors are busy getting everything ready for another summer of sun and sail. Geared towards youngsters between the ages of 8 to 16 years of age, sailing club runs every weekday from 8:30 to 12:30 until August 28. Head over to the SLSC web site to find out more. The park restoration and renewal project is winding down to a very successful completion, and the park is ready to be enjoyed by all. Come celebrate at the Park Grand Opening Ceremony at noon on July 4th. We will be unveiling a plaque recognizing the tremendous contributions that made the project possible. We’ll also be having a barbeque lunch for everyone to enjoy. See you there!
