WARD 7 BY-ELECTION
This page provides important information related to the by-election for Ward 7 of the City of Kawartha Lakes. Sturgeon Point is located within the boundaries of Ward 7, and the winner of the by-election will be representing Sturgeon Point in council. We’ll keep this page up to date with links to the candidate’s web pages, news stories, and events so that you can have easy access to all the information you need to vote.
Key points:
- The by-election will be conducted through a mail-in ballot;
- Eligible voters should have received their ballots in the mail by January 12th, 2010;
- Ballots should be mailed by January 20th, 2010;
- You can hand-deliver your ballot up until January 25th, 2010;
- The results will be announced on January 26th, 2010.

Return Completed Ballot Kit in Person Ward 7 Voters should NOT place completed ballot kits in the mail after January 20th. Between receipt of the Ballot Kit and 8:00 p.m. on January 25, 2010, you can drop off a completed ballot kit at the Bobcaygeon Municipal Service Centre.Completed ballot kits can be dropped off at City Hall until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2010. |
