Larry Thomas has once again booked the ice for three afternoons over the course of the holidays.

Due to weekend bookings, we have ice time on the afternoons of Thursday the 27th, Friday the 28th and the morning of Monday the 31st.

Location: Fenelon Falls Community Centre – Ice Pad for all three days

Time: note that there are different times for all three days.

•Thursday December 27 3:00-5:00PM

•Thursday December 28 2:30-4:30PM

•Monday December 31 10:00AM-12:00PM

Cost: Daily contribution remains the same: $20 / family & $10 / single

Looking forward to seeing you out and about at Sturgeon Point and on the ice over the holidays.

Peter Breyfogle, b. September 24, 1935 Barcelona Spain, d. October 20, 2018, Cobourg Canada.

Survived by his wife Jo, of 53 years; his son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Jillian; grandsons Charlie and Sam.

Graduate of Winchester College, University of Cambridge (Trinity College), and Harvard Business School. Champion rower, avid sailor, golfer, reader, and lover of bridge and crosswords.

World traveler and international businessman with Massey-Ferguson, Dome Petroleum, Investcan, and other entrepreneurial ventures, most recently in Egypt, China, and the Bahamas.

A celebration of his life will be held at his cherished home, Sturgeon Point, next summer.

2018 Halloween @ Sturgeon Point

This year Halloween festivities are taking place on Saturday, October 27th.

The fun starts at 11am with face painting and pumpkin carving at the Park. Thanks to our volunteers for helping to organize refreshments and crafts for this event.

We are looking for volunteers to run the Halloween craft and game!

At 6pm, take a journey through Sturgeon Point’s Treat Trail and pick up goodies from those that are shelling out.

2018 Civic Holiday Weekend

The weekend is a busy one with a BBQ and dance on Saturday, a sailing regatta, swimming and canoe races on Sunday and running races on Monday.

Important changes to note including that there will NOT be church this Sunday, the format for prize giving for the SLSC Civic Holiday regatta has changed and Salvation Army Food Drive is being collected on Monday.

Remember to renew your SPA membership if you haven’t already. The cost is $40 per person over 18 years old. Donations are also welcome! Renew online or in person at the BBQ on Saturday evening.
