This year’s Halloween at Sturgeon Point was Boo-tiful
We couldn’t have had better weather for our 2022 Halloween events.

Everyone had lots of fun at the park during the day with pumpkin carving, face painting, games and t-shirt making.

This community event really does bring everyone together and there lots of people who help make things special. Thanks to the Aspinwall family for donating hot chocolate, Jeanne Crighton for providing some snacks and a tip of the witch’s hat to Darlene Young and her crew for the yummy cupcakes!
Thanks to the Sturgeon Point Association for the face painter – she was awesome.
It was so great to have so many people helping with the set up and clean up at the park.

Around 6pm approximately 60 ghouls and goblins took to the streets to call on 33 locations around the Point. It was spooktacular!
A big THANKS to the families that signed up to hand out treats.

The Halloween event would not be possible without some key volunteers.
The Boo Crew not only donated pumpkins, decorations, treats, games, prizes, t-shirt and mug transfers as well as the equipment to make these items. Most importantly they gave of their time – creating the event posters, developing the virtual treat map, coordinating set up, clean up and keeping everyone informed.
