DONATIONS
Each year we receive donations from some of our members, and these have proven to be a very important source of supplemental funding. If you wish to make a donation at this time, please send an e-transfer to [email protected], mentioning in the e-transfer that you are making a donation.
Donations are not eligible for a tax receipt at this time and SPA is looking into changing this.
All of the funds collected by SPA every year are carefully managed, and our dollars are spent only on those things that we think will benefit our community. Details of SPA’s finances are public and are disseminated every year at the AGM, which is held every September at the Union Church. You can find financial reports from previous years on our website.
SPA is your Association, and as a member you have a say in how SPA manages its funds. If you have any comments about our community expenditures, we hope to hear from you.
You don’t have to be on the SPA Board to make your voice heard or to get involved in the community activities. We welcome volunteers and we support new initiatives and ideas.
