Hydro One donates $5000 to the Sturgeon Point Association

On Saturday November 29th Hydro One representative Jack Steele presented the Sturgeon Point Association with a cheque for $5000.00 from Hydro One’s Power Play initiative. Hydro One’s contribution will be used towards a multi-purpose court in the park. The official opening of the completed project will take place on July 4th 2009.
SPA raised over $120,000 from village residents, corporate sponsers, CoKL and a variety of foundations to replace and refurbish the playground at Sturgeon Point.
