Predeceased by her beloved husband of 71 years, Clair Stewart, and her brother, Bill McLean and sister, Mary Stewart. Proud mother to six children. Tim (Nalini), Mike (Sonja), John (Suzie), Jim (Lily), Mary Brown (Peter ) and Andrew (Kathy).

Remembered fondly by her grandchildren Tarun, Saira, Indira, Kaija, Ryan, Chloe, Madeline, Colin, Paige, Jesse, Danielle and Adam. Predeceased by her first grandchild Erik. Great grandmother to Malcolm, Rowan, Milo, Dylan, Alexandra, Cameron and Brooke.

We will remember our mother for her extraordinary generosity to family and friends and the many wonderful parties our parents hosted in Toronto and at the farm. She will also be remembered for her love of gardening, the natural world around her, and her efforts on behalf of conservation. She was extremely modest and fiercely loyal. Her inner strength and curiosity for life kept her going for 100 years. She will be remembered by her dearest friends Jim Muir and Nancy Wilson who loved and took such good care of both our parents. Thank you to Maria, Robin and Savi for their dedication to mother in these last years.

A private family service will be held.

Donations can be made to Headwaters Health Care Foundation or the Toronto Botanical Garden.
A tree will be planted in memory of Amy in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 14th, 2014 at 2:30 p.m.
