SPA is currently operating at a deficit. Like many organizations, we are facing rising costs associated with maintaining our shared spaces and social events.
To help address this, membership fees have been modestly increased for 2026.
Updated Membership Fees
- Early Bird (on or before June 28): $50
- New Membership Fees (after June 28) : $60
- Per adult (18+) in each household
Why Membership Matters
SPA is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that maintains and operates many of the spaces that define life at the Point — including the park, beach, Upper Wharf, and leaf dump.
Membership fees directly support:
- Maintenance and repairs of shared spaces
- Infrastructure improvements
- Leaf dump operations
- Community events like Canada Day, Civic Weekend, and Halloween in the Park
Simply put, membership keeps the Point running.

Sturgeon Point is what it is because of the people who show up — to volunteer, to participate, and to contribute.
