SPGC August Golf Events

This past Civic Holiday weekend you may have sailed, swam, ran, ate and drank. But did you get out and play golf?

Luckily there are some events coming up at the SPGC:

Wednesday, August 3rd in the AM – WoW with the Women on Wednesdays – calling all ladies to come out and play.

Thursday, August 4th tee times starting at 4:00PM – Couples Golf Outing. $24 per couple plus $2 towards prizes. Carts extra if needed. Format is Scottish scramble – both people drive then alternate shots after that. Fun and prizes!

Friday, August 5th in the AM – Bring a guest to the Mens’ Friday group. Reduced green feed for guests and pizza after. Arrive at 8:00AM.

Civic Holiday Monday

wink-frog The long weekend finishes off with running and novelty races on the lawn at Swanannoa (50 Lake Avenue) starting at 10:00am.

Event categories are online.

Programmes will be handed out at the event.

This is your last opportunity to drop of food or donations for the Salvation Army Food Drive.

Safe travels to anyone heading home today.

Civic Sunday at Sturgeon

Here’s what is happening on Sunday, July 31st:

10:30 AM – Church service with the Reverend Canon Milton Barry. Donations for the Salvation Army Food Drive will be accepted at the church.

2:00 PM – Swimming and canoe races as the public dock. Race categories are online.

6:00 PM – Civic Sailing Regatta dinner and prize giving.
Dinner: $ 5 per junior payable at the dinner (17 & under)
$10 per adult payable at the dinner (B.Y.O.B)

There is more happening on Monday.
