Road Report
Road work continues this week after a slow progress last week. The pace has picked up and there is new gravel spread and compacted over most of Lake Road. The lake water irrigation system has been repaired and is now operational. (Kudos to Dave Kennedy for staying on top of that.) Paving is expected to start this week. It is unlikely that the work will be completed for the long weekend, unfortunately. In the mean time, drive carefully!
June Newsletter now available
The SPA June Newsletter has been posted and should be arriving in your email inbox or your mail box soon. You can read it right now by clicking on the link. If you’re not on the mailing list and you’d like to be included, please send us an email so we can include your name on the distribution list. All are welcome.
Road work to begin
The re-surfacing of Lake Road will start on June 17. For those of you wondering if the stakes planted along the side of the road indicate a much wider avenue, not to worry. The new road will keep its original width. It will just be a lot smoother.
The work should be completed in less than two weeks, according to the City. In the meantime, let’s be patient and careful on our roads while the work progresses.
